GARY RHEINGANS - Special Projects Manager

Gary Loves - Working Under Pressure
Gary’s journey started 34 years ago when he joined the team at SRS. He is originally from Waukesha and has been riding Harley's since 1969. When he hits the streets, Gary enjoys what he calls ‘Road Therapy’.
Gary’s position at SRS is Special Projects Manager, which involves a number of challenging projects that are never the same on any given day. Some of his responsibilities include going through inventory and re-organizing the maintenance zone.
He explains that you never know what is going to come in on a flatbed with some unusual stock loads that can arrive on site. The process is always the same, unload, decide where the goods will be stored, how they will be stored, log them into the system and determine the location to store the item. Sometimes, the equipment is so large, there is an extensive investigation process to simply get things through the doors, stored and managed with the best safety precautions possible. You could say that Gary is the ‘mystery shopper’ for SRS as he is always proactively checking the warehouse stock to ensure everything has its place. He has an immense amount of knowledge about the parts that SRS stores and loves to be challenged with a project that pushes his boundaries.
Gary’s favorite part of his job at SRS is the everyday challenges he faces. He excels when presented with new projects that include varied tasks and high-pressure timescales. He has extraordinary pride in everything he does by being meticulous and paying attention to detail. Gary finds the work interesting and challenging every day. He's also known some of his team members for more than 30 years.
