John Steindorf, CEO and President, leads us in staying true to our promise of maximizing our OEM partnerships by taking full responsibility for your slow moving inventory and offering you a cost-effective and seamless solution.
John came to SRS as a business consultant in 2011. At that time he saw a unique business model and significant untapped potential and knew immediately that he wanted to help lead the team. John challenges his management team to dream a little bigger and set their goals a little higher. We want to evangelize that the SRS value proposition is REAL—our customers receive a large financial benefit, an optimization of warehouse space and an extension of their brand and product life cycles that occurs because of the way SRS partners with the OEM.
John loves the positive energy and “can do” attitude that permeates SRS. Our customers really appreciate that we take a vested interest in making our partnerships a success. Everyone at SRS acts like they are an entrepreneur and tries to make a difference in everything they do. The SRS culture that John is reinforcing is one driven by personal pride and going the extra mile in everything we do, from cleaning a part to making sure that we can get a customer’s machine up and running the next day.
When John is not solving the day-to-day challenges at SRS, he is enjoying his family time with his wife, Anita, his 4 children and 2 dogs. Growing up in Wisconsin fostered John’s hard-working attitude but also provides for a work/life balance. John’s mantra is to achieve success and overcome adversity in everything he does. So he loves to challenge himself with new milestone accomplishments away from work as well—competing in half-marathons, a triathlon and a marathon, and century bike rides. Other times he takes it a little easier and enjoys golf, tennis, skiing and going to Packer games with friends. With multiple kids now in college, he and his wife are given the opportunity to visit prestigious campuses throughout the country and have been fortunate to travel extensively outside the U.S.
